Volunteering at Daybreak
We're grateful for our committeed volunteers. Every year they generously contribute over 2,000 hours of tutoring, recreational activities, clerical and bakery support, and maintenance assistance.
If your questions about our volunteer opportunities and requirements aren't answered here, please contact Sean Mitchell at 937-395-4600 ext. 126.
Residential Aides engage our residents in positive activities.
Child Care Aides provide nurturing care to residents' babies
and toddlers in our facility while their parents attend on-site trainings.
- Bakery Aides provide assistance at Lindy & Company, our gourmet
pet treat bakery. Bakery Aides help bake pet treats, prepare and
organize orders, and do light cleaning.
Clerical Aides do light clerical work such as filing, photocopying,
and making phone calls.
Front Desk Aides greet visitors, answer phones, and use a
hand-held metal detector to perform security scans on residents.
In addition, Daybreak occasionally needs volunteers to complete one-time projects such as painting and yard work. Call 937-395-4600 ext. 126 for more information about these opportunities.
