Each year hundreds of youth living on the street or couch-hopping call Daybreak for help. Some just have questions and are looking for referrals. Some need counseling, food, and/or shelter. Some need all of the above.

Youth ages 21 and under are immediately referred to our emergency shelter. Unfortunately, older youth can't stay in our shelter. Outreach staff work with them to get them into an adult shelter, or another safe pace, while exploring housing options to fit their needs. Outreach can provide these youth with food, clothing, hygiene items, a place to shower and do laundry, bus passes, and counseling.

In addition, youth will be assigned a case manager. The case managers help youth develop an Individual Service Plan, which will identify the assistance needed to break the cycle of homelessness.

Daybreak's Outreach Drop-In Center is open to assist youth ages 18 to 24 during the following hours:

Monday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Tues-Friday  9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Youth can call 937-395-4600 ext. 127 with questions or to set up an intake appointment.
