Daybreak Inc., a nonprofit serving homeless youth in Dayton Ohio, is seeking to hire a new CEO.
After 23 years of serving Daybreak as CEO, Linda Kramer has announced her plans to retire.
Although Linda has expressed sadness in her decision to leave Daybreak, she and her husband are looking forward to starting the next chapter in their lives. Linda has graciously agreed to stay on as the Daybreak Board of Trustees conduct a search for a new CEO and to serve as a consultant in the transition.
Under Linda’s leadership, Daybreak grew from being a relatively small but strong agency with 19 employees, to become a leading force working to end youth homelessness in Dayton and the surrounding areas.
Today, with a workforce of over 100 dedicated employees and the support of countless others in the community, Daybreak has grown to provide shelter, housing, outreach, employment, and mental health services for over 800 homeless and vulnerable youth each year.
Daybreak looks forward with excitement to this new chapter in the life of the agency and finding that person who will work to take Daybreak to new heights for years to come.
