For the second year in a row, locally owned craft pizza restaurant Old Scratch Pizza has provided Daybreak and David’s Place at Daybreak with not only a sizeable monetary contribution, but also custom designed tees and tanks inspired by Pride month in Dayton.
As part of the chain’s popular “cones for a cause” event in June, customers and staff helped raise funds for Daybreak and it’s unique programming for homeless and at-risk youth and young adults throughout the greater Dayton area. As part of this donation drive, customers also got the opportunity to purchase the specially designed merchandise to show their support for the local LGBTQ community.
Once completed, the restaurant provided the funds to Daybreak while a box of donated shirts were provided for the clients and staff at David’s Place.
