We appreciate your interest in volunteering at Daybreak. However, due to the nature of our work and our obligation to protect the privacy of our youth, our volunteer opportunities are somewhat limited.

Opportunities & Requirements for Individuals (must be 18 or older)
Assist staff in providing Daybreak youth with artistic, musical, and recreational activities (Monday-Friday only)
Provide administrative support (Monday-Friday only; tasks such as copying, filing, data entry, etc.)
To become a Daybreak volunteer, individuals are required to:
Be at least 18 years old
Complete and return this volunteer application (you’ll find the return email and postal addresses on the form)
Provide three references
Undergo a background check, including fingerprinting (turnaround time may take up to 30 days)
Complete any necessary training
Opportunities for Groups (group members must be 14 or older)
Our facilities department occasionally has opportunities for groups to assist with yardwork, deep cleaning, and other upkeep projects. Weekend hours may be available.
Groups must consist of at least four people up to a maximum of 10 people. Every person in the group must be 14 or older. Group members don’t have to meet the requirements for individuals listed in the section above.
