Established in 1975 as an emergency shelter for runaway children, Daybreak has grown and expanded to include mental health services and housing, employment, and outreach programs for runaway, throwaway, and homeless youth and young adults. Lindy's Bakery, our dog treat bakery and transitional job program, provides Daybreak youth with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in a supportive environment.

Daybreak conducts criminal background checks and drug screens for all new employees. We conduct Bureau of Motor Vehicle checks when appropriate for the position.
