Early on Saturday, September 9, a vehicle struck the front entrance of our mail building at 605 South Patterson Boulevard, causing significant damage. Fortunately, nobody inside Daybreak was injured in this event.
Due to the damage however, the front entrance to our 605 building is closed indefinitely, while our facilities team and outside partners can make repairs.
All of our services, including our 24/7 emergency shelter for youths age 10-22 are open and operating normally.
Visitors and staff are to enter the building in the rear entrance during this time, and security of our facilities maintains a priority despite these changes.
There are no changes to our 701 Oz Works facility next door, which was not involved in this incident.
